Tuesday: Dance w/ Me [Adult + Child] [Ages 2.5-4]

Children will practice basic movement and coordination tasks through fun, musical games led by a certified instructor in a structured, yet nurturing environment. Parent participation is encouraged!

About the Teaching Artist: As an alumna of Princeton Dance and Theater Studio, Ms. Ryan trained intensely at PDT under the direction of Risa Kaplowitz and Susan Jaffe. She attended SUNY Purchase College's Conservatory of Dance on scholarship, where she danced many soloist roles under the direction and coaching of Ted Kivitt, Rosanna Seravalli and Bettijane Sills. Ms. Ryan graduated cum laude with extensive training in both ballet and modern dance.

After graduation, Ms. Ryan returned to Princeton Dance and Theater Studio as an instructor and Assistant Director to pursue her passion for teaching. She successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 5 and has successfully presented students for examinations. She has had the privilege of guest teaching at Rutgers University and has worked as an adjunct professor with The College of New Jersey.

In her work with PDT, Ms. Ryan oversees dance programs and outreach for many private schools in the area. In addition, Ms. Ryan works as Princeton Youth Ballet's Production Manager and has recently accepted an expanded role as the company's Director of Outreach. She is extremely excited to help enlarge PYB’s presence and work throughout the community.
