Description

Beginners and more experienced students alike will increase their skill and enjoyment of this exciting medium. Students will learn basic techniques such as wet-on-wet, glazing, masking, lifting, and controlling edges. We’ll learn when and where to use these methods to create beautiful artworks as students develop their own personal style. Drawing will also be emphasized, providing a strong foundation for each painting.

Materials: Bring to
first class: watercolor paper (pad or block) 140# Cold Press 100% cotton approx. 12" x 16"; tube watercolors - small to medium set (recommended brands: Winsor and Newton, Cotman). We will discuss the rest of the supplies (ie: brushes) during the first class.
