Description

Explore the world of fashion in a relaxed and fun environment with expressive dress and upcycling ideas using fabric and other types of unconventional materials. Using life-sized dress forms, we will explore "Project Runway-like" challenges with a new surprise challenge each day. Not to worry, we will not need to sew for any of these challenges. We will learn about fashion drawing and create clothing ideas through drawing and choose a fashion illustration that will be printed onto a t-shirt. We will also create fashion and color forecasting reports in a magazine style. Plus, we'll do an upcycling project using an old pair of denim jeans and lots of other items for an individual touch. Each project will include conversations about the customer, pricing, and hang tags.

Please bring a white t-shirt [your child's size] and old denim jeans to first day of camp.
