Description

Saturday, May 6th 4 - 6pm, with an artist's talk at 4:30pm
Join us for the Exhibition Premiere of Joy Kreves' art installation project, "CRAVING NATURE-The Feast." This one-day only event will introduce the ceramic, fabric and natural object environmental installation that is part of an evolving, ongoing project.  Composed as tables set up to greet 30 dinner guests, it is comprised of unique place settings made by Kreves and her menu poem inspired by Dr. Glenn Albrecht’s expansion of the vocabulary of “The New Language of The Earth”.

This reception will include menu interpretations of “Sumbiosic Spheres” and “The Von Humboldt Lake”, a welcome drink for viewers to enjoy as they walk around the installation.  Viewers will receive a copy of the menu poem to take home.

This exhibition premiere of the art installation is part of Kreves’ “CRAVING NATURE – The Feast” project, a series of creative participatory events that will include some actual dinners.  Registration is free but a suggested $10 entry fee per person for this Exhibition Premiere will help to support the project and The West Windsor Arts Council.
