Description

Watercolro Studio is now online.  This class will provide children a studio experience from their own home. All lessons will be led by our Teaching Artist <teacher’s name> and allow your child to socialize with other students in the class. You must have internet on a device with a built in camera to participate. Explore the wonderful world of watercolor! Experiment with a variety of exciting watercolor techniques and learn how to create vibrant nature scenes and animals. Great for beginners as well as an opportunity for more advanced painters to expand their skills.

Materials Needed:

1) Pencils( HB ), Eraser and a Black thin permanent Marker.

2) Watercolor Pad - Canson or Strathmore - 9X12 Inches

3 )Watercolors  -  ( Tubes or Cakes/pan anything should be fine )

4) Watercolor Round Brushes - Size - 2,4,8 Flat Brush - 10,12 ( Or watercolor Brush Set - Artist Loft,Windsor & Newton, Princeton Brush )

5) Palette 

6) Cup for water 

7) Paper Towel

8) Painter's Tape

 

About the Teaching Artist
Sarika Soman holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts ( Painting Specialization ) from India. With over 15+ years of experience in drawing and painting she is Best known for her colorful and vibrant watercolor landscapes, still life and abstract paintings. She has participated in showcasing her work in group shows as well as done Solo Exhibitions. She is passionate about art education and believes strongly in teaching both children and adults the skills that can enable them to draw and paint realistically.
