Description

After learning about snow crystals and hearing the story of scientific photographer Wilson Bentley we’ll look at the amazing shapes and geometric patterns of snowflakes. Each student will design their own snowflake with lateral and radial symmetry. Using a wet-on-wet watercolor technique and salt we’ll learn about diffusion and absorption as we create stunning backgrounds for these unique and imaginative crystals!
