Camp: Studio Arts: Splash Week [Ages 8-12]

Take a dive into the studio this week to learn watercolor, drawing, and mixed media techniques. Whether you are drawing realistic sea animals or painting mystical mermaids and krakens, you are in for an ocean-sized amount of fun!

About the Teaching Artist:

A native of West Windsor, Susan Mitrano is a certified K-12 Art Teacher who has taught in Princeton, Bridgewater and Montgomery schools as well as community art centers in NJ and PA.  She has a BFA from Syracuse University in graphic design with a minor in photography.  After a 15-year career as a designer and art director, Ms. Mitrano earned her BA in Art Education at The College of NJ.  She is a long time watercolorist, studying with Robert O’Brien, AWS in Vermont and others locally.  She studied ceramics with Ursula Kaplowitz and enjoys working in many kinds of clay.  She is also an avid printmaker and loves to share her knowledge of art history and art-making with the children she teaches.

Camp fees:
Household Members and higher: $360 | Non Members: $400

Extended-Day Options & Fees: Membership Discount Does Not Apply.
Morning extended-day: 7:30am-9:00am, $50 per week | $10 per day
Afternoon extended-day: 3:00pm-6:00pm, $75 per week | $15 per day
