Description

This class is especially for beginners – for those who want to express themselves visually, draw more realistically or gain skills in drawing for other applications. We will learn how to see form, value, and proportions clearly and how to represent them in two dimensions on paper.  You will learn different techniques for creating the illusion of depth as well as various surface textures. As you develop confidence when making marks, you will start to discover your own personal style. We will also explore composition and how to keep the viewer engaged with a piece of artwork.
