"On the afternoon of May 24, 2017, Priscilla came to my Demonstration of Pan Pastels I held at the WOW! Popup Gallery on Witherspoon Street. She had had a discouraging afternoon at Sloan Kettering that day so I was amazed and filled with admiration at how joyful she became the minute she picked up the pastel palette knife. We spent several hours together working on our paintings together and it's a time I will treasure for always."
Artist and farmer, Lucia Stout lives on a preserved farm in Hopewell, NJ. with her husband, Charlie Huebner where they raise pastured livestock. Exploring many media, Lucia paints with pastels, watercolors, oil paintings and walnut ink which she makes from black walnuts from her farm. Lucia founded the Tuesday morning Artists at the Station, which is a free time and space where artists are welcome to paint and enjoy the fellowship and mutual support of other artists. A graduate of Vassar College, Lucia received her BA degree in Art History. LuciaStout.com; LuciaMStout@gmail.com
