Description

Explore the world of fashion through the fairy tale of Alice In Wonderland. Through the fundamentals of Fashion lets design new outfits for Alice to wear on her many adventures. Choose a favorite character such as Cheshire Cat or the Queen of Hearts to influence new contemporary designs you would wear now. In a fun relaxed environment express yourself with a variety of fashion-related projects from upcycling, fabric prints, tote bags, trends books, tee shirt designs and “Project Runway-like” challenges with a new surprise challenge each day. Start saving your plastic trash bags, old jeans, and neckties as we turn them into stylish accessories. No sewing experience is needed. You will explore techniques in fashion figure drawing, embroidery, some hand-sewing and have a fashion show on Friday.
