Description
Join us to take your cinematic vision from idea to finished product using cutting edge and accessible digital tools. Learn the basics of digital video production through shot composition, storyboarding, camera angles, and the standard rules of filmmaking. Stretch your imagination in a team-oriented and collaborative environment while you explore the artistic and technical aspects of shooting and editing using WWAC's brand new fleet of tablets. Campers are also encouraged to bring their own portable device to learn how to keep the story production going on their own.

About the Teaching Artist:
Michael L. Clay's humble beginnings started in 2006 where he took a photography course to study abroad in South Africa. Over 10+ years later under his business, Driven by Design Creative Agency LLC, he has grown into a multi-faceted multimedia visual storyteller. His skills range from family portraiture to commercial advertising in the professional fields of photography, videography, graphic design, web design & teaching.
Michael recently worked with University Heights Charter School in Newark, NJ to co-create a curriculum that infused visual storytelling as a way to teach their students their ELA (English Language Arts) vocabulary words. Driven by Design Creative Agency LLC rewards Michael the chance to work with business owners & non-profit organizations to enhance their brand’s visual content, work with families to capture those special moments, and go into schools to work towards helping children see their studies in a new & unconventional way.
Camp fees:
Household Members and higher: $675 | Non Members: $750
Extended-Day Options & Fees: Membership Discount Does Not Apply.
Morning extended-day: 7:30am-9:00am, $50 per week | $10 per day
Afternoon extended-day: 3:00pm-6:00pm, $75 per week | $15 per day
Morning & Afternoon extended-day: $125 per week | $25 per day
