This summer, new to the fashion camp will be life-sized dress forms for campers to on "Project Runway-like" challenges. Each day there will be a new surprise challenge. This new opportunity gives us a chance to explore in a relaxed and fun environment expressive dress and upcycling ideas using fabric and other types of unconventional materials. Not to worry, we will not need to sew for any of these challenges. We will learn about fashion drawing and create clothing ideas through drawing and choose a fashion illustration that will be printed onto a t-shirt. We will also create fashion and color forecasting reports in a magazine style. Plus, we'll do an upcycling project using an old pair of denim jeans and lots of other items for an individual touch. Each project will include conversations about the customer pricing, and hang tags. A final presentation will be held on Friday, July 28 at 2:30pm.
