Description

Brilliant Watercolor is now online. This class will be both a one-on-one experience with Sarika Soman and a great opportunity to connect with other students with similar interest. You must have internet on a device with a built in camera to participate.  Beginners and experienced level painters will enjoy this watercolor class. We will cover the fundamental techniques (wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, masking, watercolor blooms, splatter technique) to create a successful watercolor painting. A new painting will be created every week with a focus on subjects such as landscapes, floral, and still life.

Materials:  Bring to first class: 9x12” watercolor paper (recommended: Strathmore brand or Canson brand); tube watercolors - small to medium set (recommended brands: Winsor and Newton, Cotman). A small tube of white acrylic paint, Watercolor brush set, palette, cup to hold water, toothbrush, masking fluid.
