Camp: Studio Arts: I am more than...[Ages 6-9]

"I Am More Than" was created with the key focus of having fun while using the techniques of drawing to encourage, inspire, and build confidence. Campers will not only learn how to use drawing tools, they will also learn how to sketch visual representations concentrating on self esteem, respect towards one another and how to overcome daily challenges.

About the Teaching Artist:

Ebony Flag was born and raised in the north eastern part of the United States, from an early age she showed an interest in the arts by seeking to emulate the creative abilities of her parents. What was once simply a hobby, soon became Ebony’s passion. After taking a few art classes in high school, Ebony would go on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the renowned Moore College of Art and Design located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While a student at Moore, Ebony honed her gifts by focusing her studies on Illustration. Adding to an already expansive skill set, she minored in graphic design. Ebony’s creativity is not confined to illustration or graphic design, as she is just as gifted in poetic writing. Her rhythmic writings are as vivid and captivating as the illustrations she creates.

Morning extended-day: 7:30am-9:00am, $50 per week | $10 per day
Afternoon extended-day: 3:00pm-6:00pm, $75 per week | $15 per day
