Description
In this class we will learn about the Abstract Expressionist art movement and look closely at the work of Jackson Pollock and Beauford Delaney. These artists are well-known for their contributions to techniques in abstract art. We will delve into the meaning behind different hues, learning how emotions can be interpreted through the choices of color. Working collaboratively, we will create one large drip art piece, and then create individual works inspired by the artists we have studied. By using your emotions, knowledge of color, and music as your guide, you will then create your own masterpiece!
