Description

Perfect for young auditoneers and campers who want to continue with voice training and techniques while learning to create characters on stage. Through drama, music and movement, campers will grow in confidence and creative expression while working on skills such as active listening and sharing. At the end the week, campers present a final performance for family and friends of excerpts from hit Broadway plays. Final performance date: Friday, July 19 1:30pm.

About the Teaching Artist:

Ellen Renee's proven Musical Theater teaching method combines structure in a challenging and fun way.    She has been in the Performing arts industry since age 6. Started under Julliard trained professional.  Performed Professionally for many years on stages in New Jersey, New York (Radio City), Atlantic City. Doing roles in musicals Pippin, Cabaret, Oklahoma, to name a few. Teaches Novice through Professional levels. Former Director of 450 student Academy of Performing Arts over 10 years. She trained and placed many Artists in Lead Roles on Broadway in 'Cats' and 'Phantom of the Opera'', Star performances on the  'Main Stage at Walt Disney World Florida', her students have gone on to professional venues & stage performances, were in commercials, print work ads & appearances on major channels. 

Natalie Pica has a degree in vocal music education from The College of New Jersey. She has performed in musicals since she was in elementary school, and started singing opera while in college. She's held lead roles in TCNJ's Lyric Theater productions (musical theater and opera) and chorus roles in La Boheme Opera Company's productions. Natalie is currently a general music and chorus teacher at two elementary schools in Hamilton Township.

Camp fees:
Household Members and higher: $337.50 | Non Members: $375

Extended-Day Options & Fees: Membership Discount Does Not Apply.
Morning extended-day: 7:30am-9:00am, $50 per week | $10 per day
Afternoon extended-day: 3:00pm-6:00pm, $75 per week | $15 per day                                                                                                                                                                        
Morning & Afternoon extended-day: $125 per week | $25 per day
