In this drawing class, the focus will be on the following concepts: learning to see form and value, developing accurate proportional relationships, perspective, shading, and composition. Demonstrations will be given in a different medium each week and you may choose to work in the medium demonstrated, or another of your choice.
Choose a list based on your preference (pencil, charcoal, watercolor).
Pencil: 8B, 4B and 2B drawing pencils; eraser; 9x12” drawing paper. Charcoal: a thick piece of soft vine charcoal (½ inch thick); kneaded eraser, 11x14” newsprint pad.
