Description

Take a Bow-Intro to Acting is now online.  This class will provide children a studio experience from their own home. All lessons will be led by our Teaching Artist Steven Smith and allow your child to socialize with other students in the class. You must have internet on a device with a built in camera to participate.  Are you interested in becoming more well-spoken and confident? In this class, actors will develop basic acting skills and more, including learning how to work as a group, improvise, follow directions, create characters, and tell compelling stories. Students will acquire theater skills through games and activities that promote focus, communication and listening. Come join us and find out what kind of character you are! Join us on the last day of class for a performance!

He has taught at-risk youth in after school programs in Los Angeles as well as weekly improvisation clubs in Princeton and Lawrenceville. Steven has performed locally at the Kesley Theater and has done extensive work in broadcast and streaming video production.
